Editorial & Medical Review Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

Health information must be accurate, balanced and easy to understand. This is how we make sure ours is.

Sources we use

  • Peer-reviewed research in established medical journals.
  • Government and public health bodies such as the WHO, CDC and NHS.
  • Professional medical associations and clinical guidelines.

How articles are written and reviewed

  • Writers summarise research in plain language and link to the original sources.
  • Each article is checked for accuracy against its sources before publication.
  • We explain study limits — such as small sample sizes or animal studies — so findings are not overstated.
  • Articles are reviewed and updated when guidance or evidence changes.

What we will not publish

We do not publish miracle cures, unproven treatments presented as fact, or content written to sell a product.
